I grew up in the laminate flooring installation and maintenance business, working for my grandfather and great-grandfather.
I love the look of hardwood! I just hate taking care of it. I searched countless products for a laminate flooring that
truly looked like hardwood and not like every other laminate floor I’ve seen. I couldn’t find anything
that met my expectations. After three years of research, I contracted with an independent German Engineered manufacturing
plant and had it created. I named the laminate flooring Old Homestead Floors because all our floors look like
rich, exotic species of hand hewn hardwood. Our flooring also has a highly dense core, heavy AC4 rated wearlayer,
beveled edges on all four sides and a realistic texture on the surface. On top of that, I added water resistance

My great-grandfather always used to say, Seeing
is believing. He and my grandfather spent most of their lives (over 75 years
of combined experience) either installing or maintaining wood floors throughout
the US. When asked, “What are the best floors on the market,”
they would both say, “If you know what to look for, you will be able
to determine the quality of the laminate flooring.”
